BLOG 6: Postgraduates studies

Postgraduates studies After finishing my university studies at the faculty of architecture and urbanism. I would like to do a postgraduate magister related to my career which is design. I would take the course so I could deepen my knowledge of my personal interests,  as well as fashion and sustainability. But there are a lot of things to pay attention to, for example the price, if it is expensive or cheap, or the duration, if it takes weeks or months, also if there are magisters of what would you like to learn. My older brother recommended that I must search for people related to those subjects so I can get recommendations.  Anyways, some companies offer to cover the costs to improve their personal abilities and capabilities, so the company is benefited. I will look for a chance to  get a magistership after travelling with my boyfriend. We both planned to travel after I finish my career so we can enjoy our youth until we achieve our thirties.  Postgraduate studies may be inconvenient w

BLOG 5: Academic Challenges of 2021

  Academic Challenges The last three years have been harder than I ever thought. I have faced too many personal difficulties, familiar problems and relatives death’s. I would like to keep that in private but I would like to share that I am better and stronger now.  Due to the pandemic, I postponed my studies at the University in 2020 but this year I had to face “Home learning”, basically online and remote classes. This new way of learning has been different but not impossible. I consider  myself as a very responsible and dedicated student since I was at Kindergarten,  this is why I do not think that this year has been academically challenging for me. I have the ability to adapt to the circumstances and home learning is one of them. I think that “Home learning” has more pros than cons. When you study from the commodity of your home everything is easier. You can wake up 15 minutes before a class and take your breakfast while having it. BLOG 4: My dream job

My Dream Job When I was a little girl, I wanted to work in so many jobs because I could not choose just one thing to do for the rest of my life. What if I wanted to do something else? That is why I always answered different professions when people asked me about my dream job. I remember answering that I wanted to be a firefighter because of the dalmatians. Other time, I answered that I would like to be a supermarket cashier because I thought that they had a lot of money.  But something that I have always been sure about, is that I want to make people happy. I still can not decide what to do.  In 2019 I started studying Kinesiology, but during the first semester I realized that no matter how much I want to help people, I can not bond with them during treatment or I will get hurt because they have more problems that I can ever solve. BLOG 3: The Role of Technology in my Life

 Technology and me When it comes to technology, despite my age, I am not a person who is very connected to technology, but I know the basics to manage some devices. There are so many operating systems, softwares and hardwares that confuses me when it comes to learn something new. This is why I rather have Apple devices. From my experience, The Apple Company has the most simple Intelligent Operative System, which allows me to understand and learn faster. Also, between Apple devices it is easier to connect them as one and share or complete information, documents or images, principally because of the AirDrop function. Although I use those devices, I do not like to spend much time using them. However, my favourite device is my iPad, I use it to watch movies or series. But on many occasions, I have got to use it to do homeworks or for emergency editions for an Aunt’s printing company. BLOG 2: The best holiday

MY HOLIDAY Every summer for as long as I remember, my parents decided to travel to the North or the South of Chile for summer vacations. Thanks to them, my two older brothers, my younger sister and I have the privilege to know almost every region of Chile. However, in summer of 2019 that tradition changed. In La Serena is a border crossing to Argentina named "Paso del Agua Negra" that we decided to cross to visit the province of San Juan. The trip lasts 14 hours, so it was a long trip but the views on the road are amazing. We stopped to take some pictures and have a meal next to the turquoise lagoon. We stayed in “San José de Jáchal” , a nice town with friendly and loving people. Near to the town, it is the "Ischigualasto Park'' that has a very interesting Paleontological Museum and one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, the "Valle del la Luna" similar to the chilean Moon Valley. I am grateful to have the opportunity to get to know new place

BLOG 1: A country I would love visiting

ICELAND When I was younger I saw the movie "Tierra de Osos", which is set in Alaska. There is a scene where some colored lights almost touched the mountains. I asked my mom: "What are those beautiful lights?" She answered: "Those are the Aurora Borealis". Since that day I went to do my research and found out that ICELAND has the best landscapes and views to see this climatic phenomenon of lights. ICELAND is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Greenland and Europe. Their official language is Icelandic. Due to the location and the volcanic land, the country is known because of their vast plateau of deserts and glacials. However, the most attract ive thing is the national “Vatnajökull Park” that I would love visiting so I can see the rivers and waterfalls. If I have the opportunity to go, I would travel between January and February because those months are the best to contemplate the lights. It is recommended to watch them two hours before and two ho
